“A trekkers’ paradise, Nepal combines Himalayan views, golden temples, charming hill villages and jungle wildlife watching to offer one of the world’s great travel destinations.” – Lonely Planet

Nepal is a fairly small yet vastly diverse beautiful country locked between India and China. Once a known as the destination to hippies, culturally rich Kathmandu is the nation’s capital where one may find life amid the typical chaos.

Nepal experiences five seasons: summer, monsoon, autumn, winter and spring. The Himalayas block cold winds from Central Asia in the winter and forms the northern limit of the monsoon wind patterns. The year is divided into a wet season from June to September, a dry season from October to June. Please be advised that the summers can be a bit hot and rainy in Nepal.
